Steven,
We are like you - no kids. Going back, we used to host our nephews and neice, for a month-long camping trip through Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and near-by states. It was sort of like "rent-a-kid," in that we got to experience children, but could then hand them back over to the parents, when it came time to put them back into school, purchase them automobiles, explain the "birds-n-bees," deal with the police, etc. Best of all worlds, IMHO.
